编者按：人类文明的历史长河中，翻译一直起着举足轻重的关键作用。就中华文明自身而言，尤其是自近代“西学东渐”以来，海量西方学术思想论著的译介传入，深度参与并深刻影响了中华文化的形塑、演进和发展。新世纪以来，“中华文化走向世界”成为大势所趋，备受瞩目。在此背景下，2014年《文史哲》国际版（Journal of Chinese Humanities）应运而生。2024年4月20日，《文史哲》杂志人文高端论坛之十二“翻译与中华文化走向世界暨《文史哲》国际版十周年回顾与展望”在山东济南召开，恰逢习近平总书记2021年5月9日给《文史哲》编辑部全体编辑人员回信三周年之际，论坛的成功举办是在学习领会回信精神上取得的重要创获。本刊选取此次论坛中的五篇发言组成笔谈，以飨读者，期待能对相关问题的研究有所推进。

Translation always played a pivotal role in the history of human civilization. As far as Chinese civilization itself is concerned, especially since the “Westernization of Learning” in modern times, the translation and introduction of a large number of Western academic thoughts and works have deeply participated in and profoundly influenced the shaping, evolution and development of Chinese culture. Since the 21st century, “Chinese culture going to the world” has become a general trend and has attracted much attention. Against this background, Journal of Chinese Humanities emerged in 2014.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of JOCH as well as the 3rd anniversary of general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee Xi Jinping’s reply to all editors of Journal of Literature, History, and Philosophy. On April 20, a symposium on the theme of “Translation and Chinese Culture Going to the World” was held in Jinan, and here we choose five papers from the symposium to highlight some of the most valuable arguments and opinions.
