The
theory of “accumulation” was first put forward by Li Zehou in his aesthetic
research, and used to illustrate the characteristics of Chinese culture. The
author has been insisted on interpreting the theory of original goodness of
human nature with ethical mood, which was initially affected by Li. Compared
with the theory of “accumulation,” the author’s interpretation of the original
goodness of human nature can be called as the theory of “fruit.” Though the
latter grows out of the former, there are many differences between the two: the
former focuses on analyzing the cultural-psychological formation, interpreting
the “congenital preexistence,” and constructing the “noumenon of feeling” with
the essense of abandoning the noumenon; while the latter foucusing on
interpreting the theory of original goodness of human nature, elucidating the
“acquired preexistence,” and reconstructing the “noumenon of benevolence” with
the purpose of exhausting and adhereing to the moral noumenon.
